THEMA 3 Intermediate Performance
The Thema 3 is Pro-Design's offering in the increasingly competative Intermediate B category. This glider offers competative performance in this class, that is both responsive and agile, and yet forgiving and accesible at the same time.
The Thema 3 comes at a time when other brands are stretching the definition of what a EN B glider means. Pro-Design demonstrates that you can still offer a glider with a modest Aspect Ratio, 4-Line Risers, Sheathed lines throughout, and still achieve all the speed and glide ratio you need to realize your biggest flying goals.
They accomplished this by creating a wing that is comfortable to fly, thus inspiring confidence in the pilot. You fly better when you are relaxed. The beauty of the Thema 3 design is that it delivers precision responsivity, allowing you, yet, at the same time, it isn't overly "twitchy." It offers the right amount of feedback through the brakes and harness so that finding lift, and making perfectly banked carving turns in the core is easy. It does all this without being overly "talkative" so that you don't have to filter out the useable feedback from the "background noise" of the wing.
The Thema 3 is a compelling wing that every intermediate pilot should put on their short list to fly!
